Climate Change or A Really Hot Summer!

The debate goes on possibly depending on your political view. Do you ever get tired of all the pundits? Can we just be hot and also sick and tired of the way the news is constantly spinned. So much dissention and anger that spills over into our daily life. No wonder we live in an atmosphere of stress and unhappiness.

If we can agree to disagree, I believe we can live in a happier world. Bringing our attention to what is good and what makes us happy can bring a smile to our face. We could easily present a small book of what is wrong, but It is much more difficult to direct our attention on the positives. With optimism and a positive focus, we can nourish and give ourselves that emotional and spiritual sustenance. The more we increase our resources, the more positive our outlook can be...

Focusing on nature is a good start requiring very little planning. As we walk outside, look up and notice, Perhaps you may see the blue sky, or some big puffy, cumulus clouds. Those clouds, the sky, is this an act of a power greater than ourselves. Look in front of you and walk toward the small creek near your home, or notice the trees giving your home shade. Recognizing nature and the beauty that surrounds us, can bring a feeling of happiness, a sense of calm. We acknowledge our Senses; seeing, hearing, touching, tasting, and mobility. Thus, bringing our world close to us. “I would like to suggest, if we take the time to be grateful for what we have, it may be easier to ignore the "constant noise outside of ourselves. “
